Bret Hodgson - Senior Software Developer
Bret, a highly experienced software engineer and systems architect, boasts a remarkable career of over 20 years across diverse industries, including Insurance, HR, aviation, aerospace, publishing, finance, retail, and startups. Prior to his successful tech career, he served six years in the Air Force, specializing in Security and Law Enforcement, with tours in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and a year in South Korea. Bret earned the prestigious "Top Gun" award for marksmanship in international competition. Born in Denver, Colorado, and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, he pursued higher education in Kansas City and later explored the world. He's now a family man with four kids and two cats, epitomizing a harmonious blend of career success and a fulfilling personal life.
Allison Livingston - UI Developer
Allison has worked professionally as a front end developer for over 5 years now after attending a local coding bootcamp with the goal of shifting her career to the tech industry. She enjoys making UI designs come to life, refactoring code to improve project performance and efficiency, and solving challenging problems that help create a pleasant user experience. Allison's favorite non-profit is The Humane Society of the United States because it aims to reduce animal cruelty and suffering regardless of the type of animal. When not coding, she is either hanging at home with her cats while cooking, watching tv/movies, reading, or embroidering, or she's out in nature gardening, hiking, or biking.
Ian Ross - Software Engineer
Ian, a backend engineer based in Colorado, possesses a passion for gaming and a sharp knack for problem-solving. Recently certified by the Turning School of Software and Design University, he is ready to leave his mark in the world of software development. His favorite non-profit is 350, an organization dedicated to combating climate change and advocating for the health of our planet. He believes that the health of the Earth directly impacts the well-being of all living beings. When not crafting code, Ian enjoys working on programming helpful side projects, building puzzles, watching anime, cooking and eating food, spending time with his four ferrets, or hanging out with his girlfriend. With a heart for philanthropy and a drive to make a difference, he is excited to bring his skills to Spave.
Suresh Gupta - Software Developer
Suresh is a dynamic professional who embarked on his journey with Spave three years ago as a backend developer. He is part of Spave’s offshore development partner Igniters Hub as a Principal Developer. With a passion for coding and problem-solving, he swiftly integrated into the team, bringing his expertise to the forefront of innovative projects. Suresh's dedication and proficiency have been instrumental in Spave's continued success, as he continues to push boundaries and drive excellence in his role.
Manish Pant - Software Developer
Manish recently transitioned to the Spave team in mid-February 2024, following his tenure with Spave’s Offshore Development partner, Igniters Hub, where he has been for the past 3+ years. Armed with a Master's degree in Computer Applications (MCA) from Birla Institute of Applied Sciences [BIAS], Manish brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new role.
