Celebrate Spave & Lemonade Day at SXSW – Enter to Win $5,000!

Hold on to your cowboy hats, friends! The Spave team is thrilled to share that we’re headed to the great state of Texas for the incomparable SXSW.  

In true Spave fashion, we are committed to making a difference wherever we go. That’s why we’re hosting a Lemonade Day Stand at Capital Factory. We’re calling it “Pop Up with a Purpose”. 

The goal of our event is to raise $350,000 for our nonprofit partner, Lemonade Day. Lemonade Day is a nonprofit that helps prepare youth for life through fun, proactive and experiential programs infused with life skills, character education and entrepreneurship. We’re thrilled to be able to support youth entrepreneurs today and every day through Lemonade Day.  

Here are our events at the Capital Factory House at SXSW (Here is the full agenda at the Capital Factory House too): 

Friday, March 8th 

  • 8:30 AM-3:00 PM Meet us in the Howdy Lounge for Badge Pickup & Check In at the Capital Factory 

Saturday, March 9th & Sunday, March 10th  

  • 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM Howdy Lounge If you still need to pick up your badge, meet us in the Howdy Lounge for Badge Pickup & Check In at the Capital Factory 
  • 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Fish Bowl You're invited to the Lemonade Day, powered by Spave, Lemonade Stand at Capital Factory House! 🍋 Hear pitches throughout the day from two youth entrepreneurs and learn how Lemonade Day & Spave are empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs by transforming spending for good. 

Here’s the really fun part! We’re giving away three $1,000 prizes and one $5,000 grand prize. 

 Here’s how it will work: 

  • March 9th – March 11th  

We’ll be choosing a daily winner for all entries. That means, any entries on March 8th will be eligible to win the $1,000 daily drawing announced on March 9th. Any entries on March 9th will be entered to win the daily drawing announced on March 10th, and any entries on March 10th will be entered to win the daily drawing announced on March 11th. 

  • March 8th – March 14th 

We will take all entries from March 8th through March 14th to be eligible for the $5,000 prize. 

We encourage you to donate to Lemonade Day or your favorite nonprofit March 8th-March 14th for a chance to win two $1,000 prizes and one $5,000 prize. Entries are accepted for the grand prize through March 14th at Noon.   

Here’s how you can enter throughout the entire sweepstakes: 

By Giving 

  • 1 entry for creating a Spave account/profile in the Spave app 
  • 1 entry for every $50 or greater donation you make to any nonprofit through the Spave app 
  • 1 entry when donating $50 or more to Lemonade Day through the Spave app 

By Sharing 

  • 1 entry each time you tag Spave and share your Spave app donation on Facebook or Instagram using #SpaveSXSW* 
  • 1 entry when you share your Lemonade Day donation using both #LemonadeDaySXSW, #SpaveSXSW, or tag Lemonade Day* 

By Following 

  • 1 entry when you Follow or Like Lemonade Day on Facebook and Instagram 
  • 1 entry when you Follow or Like Spave on Facebook and Instagram

The good news is anyone can participate in our sweepstakes from anywhere in the U.S., and the more you engage, the more ways you can enter! You do not need to attend SXSW to enter.
